The City of London Solicitors' Company is the Livery Company for City solicitors. The Company seeks to reflect the best of the history and tradition of the City and its institutions, and prides itself on being a modern organisation too. While it values and honours the best of the past, it also aims to embrace change, and to be forward looking. An important part of this includes promoting a diverse membership and, in all its dealings with members and others, creating a culture whereby everyone feels comfortable, welcome, valued and, above all, included.
These guidelines were prepared to help in achieving a gender non-specific and inclusive approach across all of the Company’s internal and external communications. The Court of the Company approved and adopted these guidelines on 14th May 2018.
