Inter-Livery Shooting Competition 2020 Results
Inter-Law Firm Shooting Competition

We are looking to broaden the participation in this event so if there is anyone else who would be interested in joining us this year, please contact the Company’s Clerk, Linzi James at clerk@citysolicitors.org.uk

You do not need to be a Freeman or Liverymen to take part in the Inter-Law Firm Competition.  Firms of all sizes take part and if you are a solo gun, we may well be able to find you a team-mate so please do contact us.
 
Timings will be finalised a little closer to the time, but the day will probably start with breakfast at around 9.00 a.m. and should be finished by 12.00/12.30p.m. Last year’s cost was £110 a head (plus VAT) for the morning’s shooting and bacon butties and tea/coffee on arrival.  Clays, cartridges and gun hire (if needed) are all included in the price. 

If you wish to stay after the competition, there is usually an informal lunch immediately afterwards at a nearby country pub.  Details for the Inter-Law Firm Competition for 2021 will be available in the New Year.
 
Inter-Livery Shooting Competition 2020
8-9 September at Holland & Holland in Northwood

We are pleased to announce that the Company's Team won the Glorious 12th trophy (jointly with the Fruiterers' Company) as well as the top flush of the day.  The Glorious 12th gives us £500 (half of the £1000 prize) to give to charity. 



Inter-Livery Shooting Competition 2019
We are delighted to announce the Company's results in the 2019 Inter-Livery Shooting competition held on 15th May at Holland & Holland in Northwood.

The City of London Solicitors' Company came 20th out of 122 teams.  Ken Baird of Freshfields came 13th out of 404 in the men's competition and Eleanor Shanks of Proskauer came 3rd out of 84 in the women's competition.

We are delighted to announce the results of the 2018 competition at the RBSS.  The winners were:

Proskauer Rose LLP - second
Slingsby Partners LLP - third 
 
Individual Top Gun:
Eleanor Shanks of Proskauer Rose LLP - was Top Gun
David Perks of Ashurst LLP - second
David King of Slingsby Partners LLP - third
